Multiload’s Analogue Mains Dimmer uses unique dimming technology, proven over a decade, to create a professional high power mains dimmer rated up to 10A.

 

AD2500 accepts a 1-10V signal for dimming control, giving exceptionally smooth dimming, and in addition uses its internal relay to isolates the mains supply to the load completely when this signal is taken below 1V.

 

Ideal for high power loads such as chandeliers, because many AD2500s can be connected to the same signal to dim in unison as a group.

 

Ideal for retrofit

  • Can be interposed in the existing mains supply to the load. The live is taken into the AD2500 where it is ‘phase-chopped’ to produce a variable live (dimmed) output for the load.
  • As the signal to the AD2500 requires only a 2-core low voltage cable, Multiload’s RPC Rotary Push Control can use existing switch positions and wiring to provide both dimming and switching controlled by this signal.
