The Multiload LampConserver Dimmer MD2500 is a high-power rotary controlled dimmer for the professional. The MD2500 comprises a remote dimmer unit (MD2500U) and a push switch rotary module (RPS-MRM). The MD2500 has a rating of 10A with a minimum load of 100W. Dimming is by rotation of the control knob and the push on/push off action of the knob provides ON/OFF switching of mains power. In addition the module has maximum and minimum light level presets to set the dimming range covered by rotation of the knob and fits into high quality Grid Systems and Plates from MK Electric, Wandsworth and Forbes and Lomax.
The dimming signal from the rotary push switch module (RPS-MRM) to the remote dimmer (MD2500U) goes via two-wire low current mains potential cable and ON/OFF switching by 2-wire high power mains cable.
The rotary push switch module is absolutely silent and any irritating acoustic hum or dimmer buzz is eliminated because the remote dimmer unit can be mounted in any convenient location outside of the room.
Smooth consistent dimming of a wide range of light sources make the MD2500 the ideal choice, even when mixing light sources.
