The new type of intelligence for lighting control

Control, dim and recall light scenes

  • Hard-wired memory – no corruptible software
  • Simple manual adjustment - no programming, no commissioning
  • Ergonomic scene select plates – control from many positions
  • Expandable and easy to interface – versatile and future proof

MoodMaker provides four adjustable scenes plus full ON, and OFF; the basic units each control up to six channels of lighting and are expandable to control an unlimited number of channels, covering one room or a whole building.

The hard-wired memory makes it resistant to voltage spikes, powercuts or software problems associated with normal (digital) controls. MoodMaker uses our own perfected real time control with 0-10V signals and direct compatibility to other industry drives.

For each scene, the light level for each channel is set up on a finger-turn adjuster – rather like a miniature dimmer knob. These 24 adjusters (with others) are housed in the MoodMaker Set-up Unit, which can be connected to up to four wall plates. The wall plates select the scene and indicate the scene selected on LEDs; the intensity of these LEDs can be adjusted for visual comfort at the Set-up Unit. The Set-up Unit also replicates the LEDs to indicate above each column, the column of adjusters for that scene. Each Set-up Unit has three adjusters for setting fade times between moods from 1 second to 100 seconds.

For addressing more than six lighting channels further MoodMaker Set-up Units can be slaved to the master unit. Each lighting channel is addressed via an industry standard 0-10V lighting signal, which controls channel brightness via 0-10V dimmable control gear, readily available for most light sources. The 0-10V signal for each channel is capable of controlling up to 20 standard input lighting drives (ie control gear), eg fluorescent ballasts, low voltage transformers, LED drives, etc.

For dimming low voltage (12V and 24V) use Multiload’s world renowned 0-10V VoltMaster ‘Intelligent Transformer’.

For dimming tungsten loads or other phase-dimmable light sources, use Multiload’s isolated Analogue Dimmer (AD2500).
