The RPS Rotary Push-Switch Modules combine analogue 0-10V potentiometer dimming and mains switching in a single module which clips into gridplates from major manufacturers, including MK GridPlus, Wandsworth Series 2 and 3, and Forbes and Lomax plates. A very wide range of finishes are available.
They have a 3-pole mains terminal for on/off or changeover (2 way) switching of the mains supply up to 10A: push-on/push-off action of the control knob switches the mains supply on these mains terminals. The modules also have a well separated 2 or 3-pole low voltage terminal which produces 2 or 3 wire 0-10V analogue control from the low voltage terminal when the control knob is rotated.
Three versions of analogue control are available: RPS1 (2 wire) is for sink currents up to a single standard ballast or other analogue drive, RPS2 (2 wire) is for sink currents between 2 and 20 standard ballasts, and RPS3 is for 3 wire potentiometer control where required, eg. Multiload’s VoltMaster.
All types of Rotary Push-Switch Modules are designed with easy access maximum and minimum brightness screwdriver presets for setting the dimming range covered by the rotary control.
