Stabilisation of Mains Supply Variations
VoltMaster provides constant stabilised voltage at the lamps, irrespective of over-volting and under-volting on the Mains Supply. VoltMaster copes with inexact frequencies of poor mains supplies.
Stabilisation against Load Changes
VoltMaster provides constant, stabilised voltage at the lamps, irrespective of the number of lamps in the circuit. All fittings can be re-lamped with lower wattage lamps or track loading can be reduced with no ill effects.
Soft Start
VoltMaster eliminates all problems caused by high surge currents at switch-on.
Improved Design Flexibility
VoltMaster’s unique sensor circuit allows the VoltMaster to be sited at greater distances from the lamps than previously thought possible. Optimum voltage (11.8V and 23.5V) at the lamps is still maintained, irrespective of volt drop in the cable.
Overload Prevention
VoltMaster’s special circuitry prevents overloading caused by incorrect lamp replacement.
Short-Circuit Protection
VoltMaster has inbuilt short-circuit protection.
Dimming VoltMaster Additional Features:
Compatibility
Control by any 1 – 10V or 0 – 10V analogue signal control system lets Dimming VoltMaster give true stabilised light levels. No additional expensive dimming rack is required.
Stabilised Light Levels
Only Dimming VoltMaster can provide true, stabilised light and voltage levels across the total dimming range, right down to the lowest ‘tell-tale’ levels: these levels are unaffected by slight changes in the frequency of poor mains supplies. This means that pre-set scenes and levels will always be replicated exactly.
Smooth Dimming
All dimming levels are achieved smoothly and consistently. A slider set at three-quarters will give 75% brightness levels every time, day in and day out.
